Hotchpotch Dundee – an evening of literature and conversation
Since March 2010, I have been running a monthly open mic night called Hotchpotch in the basement of Braes Bar on Dundee’s Perth Road.
Hotchpotch is an event for people interested in literature or writing of any kind. Admission is free and visitors can read on the open mic or come along and listen to others.
Since its inception, Hotchpotch has been kindly supported by Literary Dundee and wine has been supplied to early birds on a complimentary basis. This is greatly appreciated.
We have had many wonderful evenings, every time with new faces – and loyal regulars -and diverse prose and poetry. Long may Dundee’s literary community continue to flourish.
